The Course:

This 2 day First Aid at Work re-qualification training course will enable you, as a learner, to have the necessary first aid skills and knowledge to provide prompt, safe and effective treatment to casualties in your workplace. Approved by Qualsafe Awards, an Awarding Organisation recognised by Ofqual to offer regulated qualifications, you will receive first class training and the confidence to provide first aid if necessary.

This course is taught using a range of both practical and theoretical activities, and we always use the latest training equipment for all our first aid training courses.

All times can be arranged to suit individual workplace needs and can be carried out during the day, evenings, nights or weekends.

Course assessment, certification and re-qualification:

Assessment is ongoing throughout the course duration. A 20 question paper is taken at the end of day 1 and a 25 question paper is taken at the end of day 3, both with multiple choice answers. A comprehensive first aid course manual is issued to all students, along with additional hand-outs when applicable.

Successful completion will lead to a QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF) certificate valid for 3 years. An annual first aid training course refresher is strongly recommended to keep skills refreshed and up to date.

Re-qualification is to take this same 2-day (FAW) re-qualification training course at the end of 3 years. If a certificate expires and the re-qualification training course is not taken within a suitable period, then the full 3-day course would usually need to be taken instead. Please contact us for advice and guidance if your certificate has expired.
